BEER BRAISED POTATOES WITH STEAK

Looking for a good side to go with that top-shelf Steak? Red potatoes with skin — 1 Pound, halved (as needed)

THE INGREDIENTS YOU'LL NEED: FOR POTATO

  • Red potatoes with skin -- 1 Pound, halved (as needed)
  • Onion -- 1 Medium, finely chopped
  • Garlic cloves -- 3 , minced
  • Oil -- 1 Tablespoon (as needed)
  • Butter -- 4 Tablespoon
  • Beer -- 2 Cup (32 tbs) (as needed)

FOR STEAK

  • Steak -- 2
  • Salt and pepper -- To Taste

DIRECTIONS GETTING READY

1. Preheat grill.

MAKING FOR POTATO:

2. Place a black iron pan on grill, heat oil and butter in it. Saute onion and garlic. 3. Place potatoes, cut side down into the pan. Cook for a minute. 4. Pour beer, just enough to cover 90% of the potato, cover and bring to a simmer. Continue to cook over indirect flame for 15 minutes. Simmer uncovered for 20 minutes or until the liquid evaporates, spinning the pan occasionally for even cooking. 5. Remove the pan from grill, cover and to keep potatoes nice and warm.

FOR STEAK:

6. Season steak with salt and pepper. Place on hot grill and cook for few minutes on each side. 7. Remove meat from grill and let rest for few minutes.

SERVING

8. Serve steak with potato and enjoy!
