SPIT ROAST BEEF

Turning a whole Rib Eye Beef Roast over an open fire, and opening up the Grill & Bar at the Pit.

THE INGREDIENTS YOU’LL NEED:

  • Ribeye — 10 Pound, fat trimmed
  • Beef rub — 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  • Beef broth — 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  • Rub — 1 Cup (16 tbs)

DIRECTIONS
GETTING READY

1. Preheat charcoals in a pit.

MAKING

2. Rub the ribeye with rub, insert in a spin skewer and adjust the skewer at some height over the charcoals in the pit. After 45 minutes, baste with beef broth and trim the outer cooked part after every few minutes, rub the new exposed skin with rub.
3. Once cooked to to desired level of doneness, remove from grill and skewer. Cut into pieces.

SERVING

4. Serve with beer or your choice of beverage.
