Beef Jerky Burgers
An easy to do recipe that’ll turn an ordinary hamburger into a Burger legend at your Pit. The BBQ Pit Boys also show you how to make their Jerky Grind.
Beef Jerky Burgers Recipe
For this recipe you’re going to need the following ingredients:
2lbs of ground beef
Use you favorite jerky, grind it up finley into a powder and add about 1/2 a cup of it into about 2 lbs of 80/20 ground beef
Add about 1 teaspoon of the minced garlic and mix it it into the ground beef
Add a splash or two of the beer to keep up the moisture
Form up the burgers and place them on the grill over indirect heat , opposite the hot coals. Make sure your temperature is about 350 F and aim for a final internal temperature of 160 f
About halfway through the cook flip them over. When they’re close to done, add a couple of slices of your favourite cheese, we used pepper jack.
serve on a toasted bun with some tomato and a slice of onion, some jalapeno pickles and a sprinkling of the ground jerky.
