For this Beer Bath Grilled Chicken recipe you're gonna need the following ingredients:

2 Chickens, 2-3 bottles of beer, SPG Seasoning ( You can use salt and pepper if you don't have SPG ), 2 Cans of regular baked beans, BBQ sauce, 1 cup ( 8 oz ) of Chunky salsa Hot sauce, use your favorite
Method
Cut the chicken in half, season with SPG and place directly over the hot coals. We used our Santa Maria grill so we can raise and lower the grate regulate the temperature. If you're using a kettle grill, you'll need to keep flipping the birds over the direct heat, mostly likely you'll need to go to indirect heat to give them a rest from time to time. Grill for around 15 minutes then start to baste it with the BBQ sauce, use your favorite BBQ sauce and Keep flipping the bird each time you add more sauce. Keep adding more sauce each time you flip, this will build the layer of flavors you need to get the skin nice and crispy. When the internal temperature reaches 165°F / 75°C the chicken is done. Remove it from the grill. Take a couple of bottles of your favorite beer and add it to a pot, heat it up. You don't need a cover the chicken so depending on how big the pot is 2-3 bottles will do. Just enough beer to sit the chicken into, you can add some more hot sauce to the beer if you like. Add the chicken, bone side down, don't boil them, a gentle simmer for a few minutes is all you need to continue to tenderize.
Bean Salsa Mix
Add the two cans of baked been to a pot, add some SPG seasoning, add the hot sauce, some BBQ sauce, the chunky salsa and heat it up.
