1. Preheat grill.
2. Cut the bacon strips in half and arrange 4 half cut slices to make star shape, make 3 such stars. Place at indirect heat over foil, cover and grill at 250°F(113°C) for 45 minutes.
3. Mix together the sausages and form into patties. Place the cooked bacon stars on 3 of the patties, cover each with one more sausage patty. Place on the grill over indirect flame and grill at 300°F(149°C) for 30 to 40 minutes. Flip when half way through.
4. Once done sear over direct heat for few minutes, flip when done from one side, top with grated cheese, cover and grill until the bottom is seared. Move to indirect heat and allow to cook until the cheese melts.
