BBQ PORK CHOPS WITH POTATO BOMBS AND GRAVY

THE INGREDIENTS YOU'LL NEED:

  • Thick pork chops -- 6
  • Vegetable oil -- 6 Teaspoon
  • Spg seasoning -- To Taste
  • FOR GRAVY

    • Onion -- 1 Medium, diced
    • Garlic cloves -- 3 , diced
    • Butter -- 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
    • Italian seasoning -- To Taste
    • Flour -- 1 Tablespoon
    • Chicken stock -- 1 Quart
    • Salt -- To Taste
    • Pepper -- To Taste
    • DIRECTIONS

    GETTING READY

    1. Preheat grill.

    MAKING

    2. Drizzle some oil on both sides of the chops and season with spg seasoning. Place the chops, 2 at a time, at direct heat over grill and sear each side for 1 to 2 minutes. 3. Remove from grill and insert 3 chops per skewer. Place on the grill, keeping the bone side down, at indirect heat. Cover and grill at 340 - 350F for 30 to 40 minutes. Allow to sit for 10 minutes. 4. In the mean time, in a heated pan, place onion, garlic and butter, saute for few seconds, add Italian seasoning and flour, while stirring constantly. 5. When slightly cooked, add chicken stock, simmer for few minutes, season with salt and pepper.

    SERVING

    6. Cut into thin slices and serve with gravy and potato bombs. THINGS YOU WILL NEED Cherry wood chips (pre soaked)
