Classic Grilled Beef Stew \n\nCLASSIC GRILLED BEEF STEW\nThis delicious classic Beef Stew, brim full of tender beef, beef bones, potatoes, onions, celery, and carrots, will surely cure what's ailing you. Watch the BBQ Pit Boys show you how easy it is to do using a barbecue grill and a few Pit Master tips and techniques.\nTHE INGREDIENTS YOU'LL NEED:\n\n\tBeef Roast – 4 1\/2 lbs.\n\tSPG Seasoning – Recipe found here\n\tBeef Bones – 3 lbs.\n\tOnion – 1 large chopped\n\tGarlic – 4 cloves crushed\n\tCarrots – 4 sliced\n\tCelery – 3 stalks chopped.\n\tLemon – 2 Tbsp. Juice\n\tPearl Onions - 24\n\tPotatoes – small 4lbs cut into 1 to 1 ½ inch cubes\n\tWorcestershire Sauce – 2 Tbsp.\n\tOlive Oil\n\tFlour – 2 Tbsp.\n\tWater – 2 quarts\n\tPot with a lid\n\nDIRECTIONS\nGETTING READY\n1. Set up your grill for indirect grilling. Place hot coals on 1 side of the grill and no coals on the other side of the grill.\n2. Cut your roast into 1 ½ thick steaks\nCOOKING\n3. Place the pot on the grill directly over the hot coals\n4. Coat the bottom of the pot with oil\n5. Add the chopped Onion and crushed Garlic to the pot to sauté\n6. Coat the beef bones with Olive Oil\n7. Season the steaks you cut with the SPG seasoning\n8. Remove the pot from the grill when onions are saluted\n9. Place the steaks on the grill directly over the hot coals to sear\n10. Sear each side of the steaks for 2 to 3 minutes\n11. After the steaks are seared remove the steaks from the grill and place on a cutting board to rest\n12. Place the Beef Bones on the grill directly over the hot coals. Sear them on each side for 2 minutes\n13. Cut the steak into 1 to 1 ½ inch cubes\n14. Add the beef bones to the pot with the onions and garlic\n15. Place the pot back on the grill\n16. To the pot add:\n\n\t2 quarts of water\n\tThe cubed steak\n\t2 Tbsp. of SPG Seasoning\n\n17. Place the lid on the pot and the lid on the grill\n18. Let simmer for 2 hours\n19. After 2 hours add the following ingredients:\n\n\t4 chopped carrots\n\t3 stalks of chopped celery\n\t4 lbs. of cubed potatoes\n\t24 Pearl Onions\n\t2 Tbsp. Lemon Juice\n\t2 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce\n\n20. Replace the pot lid and grill lid and let simmer for 25 minutes\n21. After the 25 minutes add 2 Tbsp. of flour to the stew to thicken the liquid\n22. Let simmer for a few more minutes\nFINALIZING\nLadle a big bowl full of stew and add Garlic Bread or any side you prefer\nSERVING\n23. Serve and Enjoy!
