CLASSIC SUB SANDWICH

You have to try this easy to make, classic brick-oven style Italian submarine sandwich recipe by the BBQ Pit Boys.

THE INGREDIENTS YOU'LL NEED:

• 12 inch Italian bread
• And some or all of the following:
• salami,
• prosciutto (dry cured ham),
• capicola (dry cured pork shoulder)
• imported ham (cured ham),
• provolone cheese
• roasted peppers
• lettuce
• tomatoes
• onions
• oil
• vinegar

If available, use clay bricks placed over hot coals for added texture and flavor when toasting, only possible when doing this "brick-oven" style. This sandwich also goes by the name of Grinder, Hero, Hoagie, Cosmo, Po'Boy, Spuckie, Wedge, Zep, and Italian. -BBQ Pit Boys.
