Chicken Thighs


It's easy to make up some real tender and tasty chicken thighs on the barbecue grill, BBQ Pit Boys style.


  • Bone-In Chicken Thighs
  • Barbecue Sauce
  • Olive or Vegie Oil
  • Chicken Rub
  • Wash and dry the chicken thighs. Insert your favorite sauce under the skin as shown in the vid. Now coat the thighs in oil and your favorite chicken rub. Then sear the chicken for a minute or two each side over the hot coals Move the thighs to indirect heating (opposite the coals). Cover in a 350f grill for about 45 minutes. Add some hardwood for an additional smoke flavor. Remove when the chicken reaches 165-180f internal. Grilling time will vary, depending on the size of the chicken thighs and how hot your grill is. Serve with your favorite hot or mild barbeque sauce.
