Ingredients

Pork Spare Ribs ( trimmed St Louis style )

Paprika
-
SPG seasoning
-
Peanut butter
-
1 cup Jelly sauce ( Strawberry ) or any of your favorite flavored sauce.

1 cup creamy peanut butter
-
½ tps cayenne pepper
-
Beer
-
Habanero Chipotle sauce or your fav bbq sauce
Directions
Trim your spare ribs if needed.
Mix paprika and SPG seasoning as per your taste
Gently rub this combination on to your spare ribs.
Set up the smoker to 250 to 275 degrees F.
In a pot add, 1 cup Jelly sauce, 1 cup creamy peanut butter, ½ tsp cayenne pepper, 1 tsp SPG seasoning, ¼ cup beer, 1 tsp Habanero chipotle sauce, stir and mix well
Place spare ribs on the smoker
Mop the spare ribs every hour with some lager beer and flip the spare ribs to get it to cook evenly
After about 2 hours, place the ribs in aluminium foil ( Texas cheat method ) and pour ¼cup beer, spread the mixed peanut butter and jelly sauce onto the ribs and put them to steam ( to tenderize the meat ) back on the smoker for an hour.
After an hour of the ribs being in the foil, remove the foil and mop the ribs with the remaining peanut butter jelly sauce and smoke the ribs for the final 1 hour.
