PORTERHOUSE STEAKS DRY AGED

Save some money..! Get that rich beef steak flavor, just like those expensive steak houses do!

THE INGREDIENTS YOU'LL NEED:

  • 2 porterhouse black angus steaks, 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 thick cut
  • paper towels,
  • salt & pepper
  • 2 large onions, 2-3 cloves of garlic
  • large baking tray with a rack

PREPERATION

1. Wrap steaks in paper towels,place on rack, and store in the fridge for a bout a week 2. after a week, remove and trim off the hard fat around the edges 3. season with salt and pepper, and let come to room temperature.

COOK:

1. chop onions, and garlic (you know about that right) and sate in large black iron pan till soft 2. remove from pan, Sear steaks over direct heat with black iron pan on top 3. flip steaks and add onions back to pan, after a minute or two, move steaks to indirect heat to finish cooking

SERVE:

1. serve sliced or whole with onions and garlic, goes great with potato bombs, as well. 2. ENJOY THE PITMASTER PRIVLEDGE!!!
