WHISKEY BACON AND EGG CHEESEBURGER

Watch the BBQ Pit Boys cook up some Whiskey and Beef gravy to top off an Egg and Bacon Cheeseburger. Some call this the Hangover Burger. Call it what you want but it's still good eating at the Pit.

THE INGREDIENTS YOU'LL NEED: FOR GRAVY

  • Butter -- 2 Tablespoon
  • Garlic cloves -- 3 , minced
  • Minced onion -- 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  • Seasoning blend -- To Taste
  • Whiskey -- 2 Ounce (2-4 shots if desired)
  • Beef broth -- 1 Quart (almost a quart)
  • Flour -- 2 Tablespoon, dissolved in little cold water

FOR PATTY

  • Ground beef chuck -- 3⁄4 Pound (as needed)
  • Salt pepper seasoning -- To Taste (SPG)
  • Smoked bacon slices -- 2
  • Shredded cheese -- To Taste

FOR SERVING

  • Bread slice -- 2 , toasted
  • Fried eggs -- 2

DIRECTIONS GETTING READY

1. Roll meat into 3 equal sized patty and season with salt and pepper seasoning.

MAKING

2. Cook burger patty over direct heat until partially cooked.

FOR GRAVY:

3. Place a pan on grill, place a burger in it, add butter, garlic, and onion. Break the burger and cook for a few minutes. Add seasoning and stir well. 4. Add whisky and beef broth. Boil for 15-20 minutes. 5. Gradually add flour water mixture into the gravy and mix well. Cook until thickened. FOR CHEESEBURGER PATTY: 6. Top the remaining two patties with smoked bacon slices and cheese. Cover and cook until cheese melts.

FINALIZING

7. Top bread slice with cheeseburger, followed by egg and gravy.

SERVING

8. Serve and enjoy!
