CLASSIC SUB SANDWICH
You have to try this easy to make, classic brick-oven style Italian submarine sandwich recipe by the BBQ Pit Boys.
THE INGREDIENTS YOU’LL NEED:
- 12 inch Italian bread
- And some or all of the following:
- prosciutto (dry cured ham),
- capicola (dry cured pork shoulder)
- imported ham (cured ham),
- provolone cheese
- roasted peppers
If available, use clay bricks placed over hot coals for added texture and flavor when toasting, only possible when doing this “brick-oven” style.
