The BBQ Pit Boys cook up some Pork Loin Ribs over an open fire. And they come out moist and tender with these few and easy to do tips.
Country Style Pork Ribs Recipe
We used pork loin country-style ribs in this recipe, they’re cut from the Sirloin or Rib end of the pork loin and as many of you know it’s a real lean cut of pork so you really need to braise it for
a few hours to get it right.
Rub the boneless ribs with some oil and season, we used our SPG although
you can use some salt and pepper if you don’t have our SPG.
Sear the ribs over an open fire if you have one, or direct heat on the grill, just give both sides a nice
toasting to get some of that wood fire flavor.
For this recipe you’re gonna need
32 ounces (900 grams) of ketchup,
1/2 a cup of Italian style salad dressing,
2 tablespoons of cumin,
1/4 cup of brown sugar,
3 tablespoons of molasses,
2 tablespoons of garlic powder,
2 tablespoons of onion powder,
12 ounces ( 350 ml ) of beer, use your favorite beer,
3 tablespoons of your favorite hot sauce
Salt and pepper, or SPG.
Take the ribs once seared up, throw them into the pot with the sauce and place the pot direct over the fire, simmer up for at least
2 hours, the longer you go more tender they will be.
Kick back and enjoy a few beers or whatever tickles your fancy while you wait by the fire
Serve them up the way you like, if you want to put it on a fancy ass plate and all the sides you just go right ahead, we served them up on a toasted bread roll.
