COUNTRY SMOKED HAM

This delicious County Ham recipe by the BBQ Pit Boys is quick and easy to do on the barbecue grill.

THE INGREDIENTS YOU’LL NEED:

Recipe:

  • 7-9lbs Ham Butt (shoulder)
  • 1/2 cup Apricot Glaze or Preserve
  • 1/8 cup Soy Sauce

Combine the Apricot Glaze and Soy Sauce and apply all over the ham. Place the ham onto a grate in a shallow roasting pan. Place the ham in your grill opposite the hot coals (indirect heat ) Cook in your covered grill at 300-350f for about 2.5 hours or until the internal temperature of the ham reaches about 135f. Remove from the grill and let sit for about 15 minutes before slicing.
