Easy Fish Fry
No frozen fake food fish fry here. Watch the BBQ Pit Boys cook up some local caught Harbor Blues and Weakfish. They come out crispy tender guuud..! Choose your fav fish and give it a go….it’s real easy to do.
For this Easy Fish Fry recipe you’re going to need the following ingredients:
-Peppers of your choice
-Fish of your choice
Slice the thick parts of the fish to allow for even cooking.
Once your cooking oil is up to cooking temperature, add in some slices of the Fresh Ginger Garlic Peppers
and Scallion then add the fish, a wok is a great tool to use for this, it requires less oil and the fish can easily be baste. By moving the fish around the wok as it cooks will help with sealing up the skin.
As the flavor elements you added to the oil start to look like they are cooked, take them out, replace them with fresh ingredients. Ginger in particular, if burned it will give off bitter flavors, so be aware of this.
Using whole fish greatly reduces waste compared to using filets, nothing is left behind on the bones.
