Nacho Burger Dogs
These all beef hot dogs will kick up that burger and hotdog fest you have going on at your Pit, guaranteed….. Ya better make a bunch of them because the kids will be standing in line for these puppies.
Ground beef. 1 lb
Cilantro aka Coriander
Green bell pepper
1 sweet Vidalia onion
Nacho Seasoning 1/4 tsp
Garlic powder 1/4 tsp
Onion powder 1/4 tsp
Cumin Seed 1 tsp
Cayenne Pepper 1/4 tsp
Paprika 1 tsp
Oregano 1/2 tsp
Chili powder 1 tsp
Hot Dog Rolls
Divide up the ground beef into four to make four 1/4 lb dogs.
Add the Garlic powder 1/4 tsp, Onion powder 1/4 tsp, Cumin Seed 1 tsp,Cayenne Pepper 1/4 tsp
Paprika 1 tsp Oregano 1/2 tsp and the Chili powder 1 tsp to the burgers and mix it in.
Shape the ground beef into a hot dog shape
Take the Nacho chips and place them into a bag and smash them down into small pieces and roll the nacho dogs in to give them a good coating of the smashed up Chips
Place them over indirect heat at a temperature of around 350 F
At about 15 minutes into the cook you might want to flip them over.
While that’s cooking chop up the veggies and heat up the cheddar cheese in a small pot until it melts.
Once the dogs are cooked place them on a hot dog roll and add the veggies and serve with sour cream.
