This is my second knife. Purchased for a gift. This is my go to heavy duty knife. I love it for ribs or chopping up large pieces of meat. Hold a great edge very sturdy and get the job done. I have owned my first one for over a year. Just a side note I have also been using there rubs. Great stuff!! Thank you guys for all your great products and informational videos.

Knives are one of the most important tools whether you cook at home, or you are king of your grill, or a pitmaster. Whether you need to open a package of sausages, slice onions, trim brisket, or carve a ham, you need good knives.
If you pride yourself on your BBQ, you already know that using the proper knives makes a huge difference in the ease and enjoyment of your experience.
I purchased two 10” Smooth BBQ knives, one for me and one for my son- and I am glad I did.
Overall, I am thoroughly impressed by how the knife performs. It is lightweight for a big knife and sharp, the two most important factors in a reliable knife. The handle is easy to grip and feels sturdy in hand.
It’s big enough for slicing pork bellies, brisket, pork ribs, beef ribs, and any large cut of meat. It also slices easily through hard veggies as well as soft ones and it has a field day with tomatoes. Its full tang construction makes it more balanced in the hand. It also helps to avoid exerting too much force and this in turn helps making more precise slices.
The only problem I find, is that the knife doesn’t come with a sheath. A sheath will really help protect this knife.

I warn you not to buy this knife. I opened mine to carve up some beef and three days later I found myself naked in the woods gone. I found a note from my wife saying she had to leave after my incessant howling at the moon and chopping down three acres of trees with it. I can't express just how much power exudes from this and that you likely won't be able to handle it without your life being entirely disrupted and flipped upside down.

Used it this weekend on the Pacific Coast while staying on the beach. I was quite surprised by the size and heft of the blade/handle. Even my vintage butchers knife is shorter and lighter. If you could, ask Martha to send me the blade angles (both the hollow ground and the cutting edge) so I can keep the edge keen.
