STRIP CHEESE STEAKS

It's all about the Cheese with these Boneless N.Y. Strips, AKA Club Steaks. Rich man's steaks on a working man's budget! You gotta check these out..!

THE INGREDIENTS YOU'LL NEED:

  • Strip steak -- 20 Ounce (2)
  • Grated sharp cheddar -- 2 Tablespoon (as needed)
  • Grated mozzarella -- 2 Tablespoon (as needed)
  • Onion 1 , finely chopped
  • Garlic clove -- 2 , minced
  • Coarse salt -- To Taste
  • Black ground pepper -- To Taste
  • Smoked bacon strips -- 5 , chopped
  • Butter/Oil -- 1 Tablespoon
  • Sliced mushroom -- 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (couple of handfuls) (Optional)

DIRECTIONS GETTING READY

1. Preheat grill to medium.

MAKING

2. Season steak with salt and pepper. Place on grill, over direct flame and cook for a few minutes on each side. Transfer steak to indirect flame. 3. Place a pan on grill over direct heat and sauté onion, garlic, and bacon until onion turns translucent. Add butter/oil and cook for a few minutes. Add mushroom and continue to cook until done. 4. Top steak with the onion mushroom mixture, followed by cheese. Cover and cook until done.

SERVING

5. Serve hot and enjoy!
