Beer 'n Butter Hot Chicken Thighs

BEER AND BUTTER BBQ CHICKEN THIGHS

It's all about the sauce with this recipe so get your Barbecue Shoes on and fire up that grill

THE INGREDIENTS YOU'LL NEED:

  • Vegetable oil -- 1 Tablespoon (as needed)
  • Butter -- 2 Tablespoon
  • Onion -- 1 Medium
  • Garlic clove -- 3 , mince
  • Chicken thigh -- 4 Pound (8- 1/2 pound each)
  • Seasoning blend -- To Taste (salt pepper garlic mix)
  • Beer -- 1 Cup (16 tbs) (more or less as needed)
  • Hot sauce -- To Taste

DIRECTIONS MAKING

1.Place a cast iron skillet on flame and heat oil and butter in it. 2.Add onion and cook until browned. Stir in garlic and sauté until fragrant. 3.Sprinkle seasoning and place the chicken pieces in the skillet, skin side up. 4.Pour beer and hot sauce in the center and top it with another chicken thigh. Sprinkle seasoning on top. Cover and cook for 5 minutes. Spin the skillet around for even cooking and continue to cook for another 5 minutes. 5.Remove chicken from pan and place on grill (300-325 degree F) over indirect flame. Cover and cook for 20-30 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165 degree F, basting occasionally with beer butter pan sauce. 6.Transfer chicken over direct flame and cook for a couple of minutes, if desired. FINALIZING 7.Reheat the remaining beer butter pan sauce and pour it on top of chicken.
